In the first game of the year, the Oatka Quackers defeated the Donia Dozers by a score of 26-4.  Jordan Shelton led the Quackers to the victory with 7 Hits, 7 Runs, 2 HR, and an incredible 15 RBI.  His 15 RBI tied the mark for most in a single-season game.  Regis Pollard got the win on the hill as he had 10 strikeouts through 4 innings.  Tommy Barefoot finished the day 2-4 for the Dozers. In the second game it was the Mumford Suns who were able to hold on against the Westside Whompers by a score of 17-14.  JT Williams led the Suns attack going 3 for 5 with 2 HR and 8 RBI.  Andrew Ernst got the Win allowing 8 runs through 4 innings and Alex Coleman came in to record the save.  Joe Cappotelli took the loss for the Whompers but went 5 for 7 with a HR at the plate. The Final game of the day the Bombers handled the Workhorses by a score of 31-2.  Chris Peterson and Matt Heins led the offensive attack combining for 15 Runs, 4 HR, and 21 RBI.  Jake Kocher was dominate on the rubber as he struck out 13 and allowed just two runs on his way to a complete game.  Howie Decker of the Workhorses finished 3 for 7 with a triple.
