Quackers Defeat Bombers to Take First Place

In their first meeting of the 2012 season, the Oatka Quackers defeated the Burnwash Bombers 12-1 Friday night.  Both teams were nationally ranked, undefeated, and had their aces on the hill in the re-match of last year's World Series.  Pollard took home the win allowing 1 run off 3 hits while going 4-6 at the plate with 4 RBI.  Jordan Shelton was 3-8 with a triple and 6 RBI while Darren McGuire added 2 runs off 7 walks. 

Jake Kocher led the Bombers offense going 2-7 at the plate and also recorded the loss, allowing 7 hits and 10 runs over 4 innings.  Cory Sisson managed 5 walks and scored the only run for the Bombers. [Box Score]
