Dozers and Whompers Double Header Rescheduled

The Donia Dozers (0-2) and the Westside Whompers (0-2) will be facing off tonight in a 2-game series, as they make up for Sunday's rained out games.  Both teams are dead last in the league and without a win, but have showed plenty of signs of hope in their losing efforts.  Tough innings and unfortunate breaks have cost these teams early on as they each look to get their first victory tonight.

"It should be two interesting games," stated Dozers manager Jon Cappotelli.  An All-Star selection in 2011, Cappotelli will be making his first debut for the team in the 2012 season.  Jon will also be going head to head against his brother Joe Cappotelli, manager of the Whompers.  When asked about competing against his younger brother for the first time Jon replied, "It's going to be competitive, it always has, but we [The Dozers] plan on making a statement tonight."  The brotherly rivalry will be something interesting to watch for in this already unique Thursday night of wiffleball in the WWL.
