February 4, 2011 — Chris Terborg, Matt Heins, and Jake Kocher are the final players named to Chris Peterson’s team. Peterson quickly filled up his 5 man team with quality players.

Chris Terborg, currently at St. John Fisher, is a fine player to add to the League. A former Caledonia-Mumford student, Terborg had an impressive sports career in high school. An All-Star soccer player, he also played tennis for the Red Raiders.

Heins is a fine athlete and can be seen playing back yard sports, or saving lives as a volunteer firefighter. He was a soccer player alongside Terby, but also played baseball for the Red Raiders. His senior year he posted a enormous .406 average with 13 runs and 6 RBI.

Kocher also has a history with the Raiders. His junior year he was a catcher on the squad before switching schools. At Lima-Christian he also was a part of the baseball team.

Terborg is a very versatile athlete that will be a good addition along with Peterson and Beard. Terby is an option to pitch, but will mostly see time at either first or on the right side of the infield. At the plate, he will be a solid contact hitter for the team. Heins will provide the speed on the base paths and will be able to cover ground in the outfield. Kocher will be a good addition to the lineup and provide a powerful swing. Look for Peterson to come up with a name and logo now that he has a full list of talent on his team.
