Silver Slugger Award

Kevin Keenan

Kevin Keenan, who led the WWL in SLG and OBP, was second in average batting .731 while adding 5 HR. In 84 plate appearances, Keenan struck out a total of 3 times. The win gives Keenan his first Silver Slugger Award.

Jake MacWilliams

Jake MacWilliams racked up numerous big plays in the field during the 2011 season. In his first game, his diving grab in foul territory earned him the #1 play of the year. He edged out Quackers first baseman Jordan Shelton for his first Gold Glove.

Regis Pollard

Regis Pollard was the lead-off hitter and ace of the Quackers, who went undefeated in the regular season. He led the league in batting average (.739), Runs (45), and Hits (51). Pitching, Pollard led the league in ERA (6.29) and Wins (4).

Regis Pollard

Regis Pollard went 4-0 as a starter and managed a 6.29 ERA, which led all players. Pollard was second in strikeouts and innings pitched, on his way to his first Cy Young.

Chris Peterson

Chris Peterson managed the Burnwash Bombers to a 6-4 regular-season record, which earned them the #2 seed going into the playoffs. The Bombers went on to win the World Series to claim the first WWL Championship. He also turned in a solid season batting .596, with 3 HR, and 23 RBI.

HR Derby Champion

Matt Heins

Matt Heins had to get by some big names before making it to the Semi-finals, where it took two swing-offs to get past Jon Cappotelli. In the finals Heins would out duel Kevin Keenan to win by a single HR. Heins finished with 6 Total HRs in the derby and took home his first HR Derby Award.
